The government of Fiji, through the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA), has obtained funding from the Asia Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (WB) for the Critical Bridges Resilience Project and is seeking to hire a Project Accountant to be part of the Project Management Unit. Applicants must have Fijian nationality.
Role Requirements:
- Must be a member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants, CPA Australia or similar recognized Professional Organization.
- Preferably 6 years’ experience in managing finance for similar projects or in managing finance for Government’s donor funded projects.
- Management skills and experience, including line management, management of other resources, evidence of capacity to support others.
- Solid communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relation management skills and experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively and sensibly in government sector and its development partners environments.
- Excellent command of written and oral English.
