Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is developing an aggregate geospatial database information system.

The purpose of this database to enable the authority’s contractors’ to identify aggregate sites that conforms to quality requirements and is readily available within reasonable cartage distance of any FRA project sites.

This aggregate database will enable FRA to have a holistic view of quarry supply that comply with FRA contract material specification and quarries production capacity. In addition, FRA is obligated to ensure that all extraction and quarry sites meet all legal requirements for their operational.

All interested operational quarry aggregate suppliers are requested to submit and expression of interest completing the FRA Aggregate Information System Form. These new potential suppliers are also encouraged to submit the same information.

Taking into consideration the information provided above, FRA is requesting to quarry owners to provide the following;

  • Consent letter to publish limited quarry information on FRA website
  • Approval Documents from relevant authorities for the operating of the quarry eg. EIA approval, agreement to lease, extraction license, MRD quarry approval, DTCP approval
  • Latest Material Test Results for quarry products supplied to FRA project
  • Response to FRA Aggregate Information System Form
