The recent prolonged and intense rainfall has resulted in severe damage to the highway network.
Road surfaces have been degraded and bridge and crossings compromised by flooding.
Our team have been working tirelessly to ensure a safe network, and will continue to do so.
However, we do ask road-users and the general public to exercise extreme caution and drive with care and due consideration for other road users.
There are some repairs to the network and network structures that cannot be carried out until the current severe weather front passes away from Fiji. We apologize for any inconvenience but we are doing this in the interests of safety and practicality.
