Fiji Roads Authority is advising motorists that major water works are taking place in the road corridor at Nokonoko Road and on the Kings Road near Ratu Sukuna Memorial School. As a consequence there is a backlog of traffic building up in the area.
Motorists travelling to Nausori are encouraged to use alternative routes if possible via Princes Road.
The Fiji Roads Authority will carry out road reinstatement work on Nokonoko road once the Water Authority of Fiji have completed repairs to the water main. The timeline for repairs is not known at this stage.
