The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise the public that Trenching and Asphalt reinstatement works initially scheduled for 27th September on MacGregor Road was deferred due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The works have been rescheduled to commence on 4 October 2025 at 10:00pm and will be completed by 4:00am on 5 October.
To accommodate these works, two lanes will be closed while the remaining two lanes will stay open and will be used to allow traffic to flow in and out of Suva CBD. There will be no full stoppage of traffic, but drivers are advised to take extra care while passing through the work zone.
We kindly request all motorists to strictly adhere to the posted signage and follow instructions from traffic controllers to ensure the safety of all road users and workmen.
Please note that these works are weather dependent. In case of adverse weather, the works may be postponed and rescheduled.
