PUBLIC ADVISORY: EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF SASA BRIDGE, NADI

The Fiji Roads Authority wishes to advise members of the public that Qilai Road in Namosi will be temporarily closed to allow for the replacement of a dislocated and broken culvert along the road.
The road will be closed on Sunday, 11 October 2026, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
During the culvert replacement works, vehicle access will be prohibited, and a pedestrian bypass will be provided at the upstream end of the creek.
Commuters in this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising their travel plans.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period, and traffic controllers will be available to direct motorists during the closure.
