July 9, 202610 July 2026
The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public of a planned partial road closure at the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge along Queens Road on Sunday, 12 July 2026, to facilitate H-Pile driving works as part of the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge Reconstruction Project.
Details are as follows:
Location: Queens Road – Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge
Date: Sunday, 12 July 2026
Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
During this period, traffic will be reduced to one lane, with one-way traffic operating at a time under the direction of traffic management personnel.
Traffic controllers will be stationed on site to safely manage the flow of vehicles through the work area.
These temporary traffic restrictions are necessary to ensure the safe execution of H-Pile driving works, which form a critical component of the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge Reconstruction Project.
Motorists are advised to expect minor delays, drive with caution, observe all temporary traffic signs, and follow the instructions of traffic management personnel.
The Fiji Roads Authority apologizes for any inconvenience these temporary traffic arrangements may cause and thanks the motorists for their understanding, and cooperation while these essential bridge improvement works are carried out.
