The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that Vakabuli Timber Bridge along Vakabuli Indian School Road in Lautoka will be temporarily closed to carry out urgent repair and improvement works.
Bridge closure will be in place from 9:00pm Saturday 27 September to 7:00am Monday, 28 September 2025.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period to direct motorists on detour routes.
Detour Routes:
From Vakabuli Indian School Road to Drasa Cemetery Road to Vakabuli Village Road to Main Kings Road.
The alternative route available is marked in locality map below. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
