The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public of Ovalau, especially the villages of Nukutocia, Wainaloka, Bureta, Lovoni, Navuloa, and Viro that there will be bridge approach reinstatement works taking place at Waidra Bridge on Thursday 11th April 2024.
As a consequence, the road will be closed from 9am till 4pm.
During this period the transportation services will cease operations along this route. However, they will be allowed to continue their services up to the section of the road that is unaffected by the roadworks. An alternative route is also available around the Ovalau Circular road.
