Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public living along Vuci Road in Nausori, that there will be a full road closure scheduled from 7pm this evening, 8th December 2023, until 6am tomorrow, 9th December 2023 to carry out emergency culvert reinstatement works near the junction of Maki Musala subdivision.
The works has been extended as a result of a burst main along Vuci Road, with the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) carrying out repairs. Following their work, the FRA will proceed with the emergency culvert reinstatement.
For safety reasons, pedestrians and vehicles will not have access to the road during this time. Residents living inside and past Maki Musala Subdivision are kindly requested to detour via the Nadali Bypass Road using Wainibokasi Road.
Residents living from the Vuci Road junction to Bosekorewa Feeder Road will be allowed access from the Wainibokasi Roundabout into Vuci Road.
