CONSTRUCTION OF ROUNDABOUT AT MUANIKAU ROAD – QUEEN ELIZABETH DRIVE INTERSECTION

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the construction of the roundabout at the Muanikau Road – Queen Elizabeth Drive intersection will commence on Wednesday, 14^th of December.

As a consequence, the local area traffic management will be modified to suit the construction and ease of safe travel. The works are scheduled for the period of Wednesday, 14^th of December 2022 to Tuesday, 31st January 2023.

There will be no go-through arrangement at the Queen Elizabeth Drive and Muanikau Road intersection. All traffic will be diverted onto Muanikau Road.  Vehicular traffic will not be permitted to enter Queen Elizabeth Drive from Muanikau Road. Please follow the de-tour arrangement installed on site.

The temporary traffic management will be set up and managed by site personnel.  Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly and follow all posted signage and speed limits. For further queries please call the FRA on 5720 or email info@fijiroads.org.
