GATWARD BRIDGE WORKS PLANNED FOR FRIDAY, PLEASE PLAN AHEAD

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public and residents of Deep-water Road living past the Gatward Bridge in Korovou that bridge beam replacement works is scheduled to be carried out from 9am to 5pm on Friday 28th October 2022.
The replacement works will take approximately 8hours to complete as it involves the removal of the deteriorated timber members, installation of the new beam and timber bridge deck members.
For the safety of the public, there will be no access to pedestrians and vehicles during this time.
Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans. We will have standby vehicles on both sides strictly for emergency events only. For further queries please call FRA on 5720.
