Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will be carrying out traffic signal upgrade works at the Waimanu Midblock in Suva. During this time, the traffic signal will be shut down for 3 weeks starting from 7pm, 6th October, 2021. Temporary traffic management will be deployed on site.
During this shut down, the changeover will be done from the old traffic signal system to a new one. This new system will have advanced features like back-up power and LED lanterns. This will also enhance safety for the pedestrians crossing.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to exercise caution and to follow the traffic management employed on site. All works are subject to weather. For further queries please call the FRA on 5720.
