TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADE WORKS AT ROBERTSON ROAD/ RODWELL ROAD INTERSECTION

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that Kings Road at Wainawi Bridge in Kasavu will be reduced to single lane from Sunday, 25th April 2021 to allow the construction of the new Wainawi Bridge. Single lane traffic will constitute to 30 minutes’ delay during peak hour traffic.
The programmed works of the construction of the new bridge will be executed in two phases and the road will be limited to single lane operation for the duration of construction. The works also include road upgrade on both approaches.
Stop and Go beacon lighting system will be installed on site to guide motorists safely through the site and the public is requested to strictly adhere to the traffic management in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike.
The construction phase is approximately 10months.
