Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is pleased to advise that the new Korovuli Bridge in the Northern Division is now complete and open to traffic.
The bridge is located along Nabouwalu road between Seaqaqa and Savusavu intersection in the Province of Macuata.
The new two lane bridge is a 30m long single span steel beam structure with concrete deck driven. It has 2m wide footpath on one side and is protected with 80 metres of guardrails on each side.
The new bridge will bring ease to thousands of commuters travelling to and from Savusavu, Nabouwalu and Labasa. It also links the Nabouwalu Jetty and Savusavu Jetty in transporting goods to Labasa.
