UPGRADE AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL IN LABASA
September 23, 2020Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public, especially travellers along Dhanus Road and Saru Loop Road that the Saru Timber Bridge in Lautoka will be temporarily closed for repairs from 10pm Saturday 19th September to 5am Monday 21st September.
This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out replacement of the severely deteriorated bridge timber runners and decking. During this time access will be prohibited and detour routes are available via Saru Loop Road, Dhanus Loop Road and Natabua Road.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and traffic controllers will be available to direct motorists on detour routes. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
We apologise for the expected inconvenience. For further queries please call FRA on 5720.
