HEAVY DUTY MODULAR BRIDGE ARRIVES IN THE COUNTRY

STOP/GO ARRANGEMENT AT TAMAVUA-I-WAI BRIDGE FROM 8PM TONIGHT

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public, especially travellers along Vakabuli Indian School Road that the Vitogo Paipai Timber Bridge in Lautoka will be temporarily closed daily for urgent repairs from 10pm Saturday 1stAugust to 6am Monday 3rd August.
This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out replacement of the severely deteriorated bridge timber runners and decking. During this time access will be prohibited and detour routes is available via Drasa Cemetry Road.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and Traffic Controllers will be available to direct motorists on detour routes. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly. We apologize for the expected inconvenience. For further queries please call the FRA on 5720.
