FRA STAFF SUPPORTS ASPIRE NETWORK’S INFANT MILK INITIATIVE

Staff of Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) contributed $960 worth of baby milk products towards Aspire Network’s Infant Milk Initiative.

Founder and Executive Director of Aspire Network Karishma Kaajol Kumar says they are thankful for the generosity of the staff which will help them distribute milk to families in need with newborns.

“This initiative is aimed at helping parents that have been affected by COVID-19 pandemic and are facing financial difficulties as well as mothers that are not able to breastfeed due to medical reasons,” Ms Kumar said.

She said this will help towards supporting few of the already 150 plus request that were made through this initiative.

FRA Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore says they had recognized that they could make far more of an impact and help more families by partnering with organisations such as Aspire Network, who have identified the families with greatest needs.

“As part of our corporate social responsibility to support a worthy cause, we have worked towards making a difference by helping families so that no baby is denied food and care for survival due to financial constraints.”

Mr Moore acknowledged Extra Supermarket for their kind contribution towards this initiative.
