PUBLIC ADVISORY – Labasa Road Closure Due to Culvert Installation

Fiji Roads Authority would like to advise members of the public that installation of speed humps will be carried out tomorrow 25/01/20 at the James Madhavan road in Labasa.
The road will be on closedown until 4am Monday 27/01/20 to allow concrete curing.
Traffic will be diverted onto Salusalu Street through the unsealed back road behind Bethel Primary School onto Nadawa and back onto James Madhavan Street.
This will also happen vice versa for traffic from the opposite end. We will appoint flagmen at each detour points to control traffic and advise motorists. Saw cuts and trenching works will start at 7pm continuing through the night and we will pour concrete on Sunday morning.
Full traffic control will be in place throughout this period
