NOCO DELTA ROAD IN REWA TO BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the Noco Delta Road in Vunisinu/Nalase village to Nakorovou Village in Rewa will be temporarily closed from 10am Tuesday, 23^rd April to 3pm Wednesday, 24^th April.

This road closure is to enable the FRA contractor to carry out the necessary culvert replacement at Nadoria.  The existing culverts are inadequate to cater for the volumes of water causing erosion and narrowing of the roadway.  The new culvert arrangement will be 3 cells of 900mm diameter and the installation requires major earthworks excavation, needing full road closure.

Please be advised that the buses will turn around at Vunisinu/Nalase junction and a timber temporary foot crossing will be provided to access across the worksite during the duration of the road closure.
