China Railway 14 Group is the contractor awarded the contract to construct the new Stinson and Vatuwaqa Bridge. The announcement was made by Fiji Roads Authority(FRA) Board Chairman, Mr Dinesh Patel at the contract signing in Nasese yesterday.
The contract now in place formalizes the commitment by the Fiji Government and FRA to deliver for Fiji two bridges that connect pathways to and around our Capital City Suva.
The approximately FJ$30million China aided grant will see both bridges constructed within 29 months with physical works onsite to commence in first quarter of 2016.
