BOCA BRIDGE, BULILEKA ROAD, LABASA OPEN TO LIGHT TRAFFIC
The Fiji Roads Authority wishes to advise that the Boca Bridge is now open; but to light traffic only.
Structural Engineers inspected the Bridge on Saturday and have advised that the bridge beams have been overstressed and will require replacement.
The FRA reminds all road users of their responsibility to ensure that loads are within legal limits. “We cannot have the action of a few affect the lives of thousands” says FRA’s Maintenance Works Manager, Dale Nicholls.
