STOP AND GO ARRANGEMENT ON TAMAVUA-I-WAI BRIDGE FROM 9PM TO 5AM FROM 7TH TO 10TH APRIL

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public, especially travellers along Saweni Beach Road that the Saweni 1st Timber Bridge in Lautoka will be temporarily closed for repairs from 10pm Saturday 6th August to 5am Monday 8th August.
This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out replacement of the at risk bridge timber runners and decking. During this time access will be prohibited and detour route will be available via Dreketi Feeder Road.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and traffic controllers will be available to direct motorists on the detour routes. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
