Both lanes on Queens Road at Veisari, Lami is now open to traffic.
Confirming this, Fiji Roads Authority General Manager Network Operations and Maintenance Aram Goes says their contractor Fulton Hogan Hiways has managed to clear both lanes and they will continue to work tonight to clear slip debris and make the site accessible.
“The surface is still visibly dirty and the passing lane will not be opened for several weeks through this section of Queens Road.”
Mr Goes has advised motorists to use extreme caution whilst travelling in these conditions and to please drive slowly.
