TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WAINIBAU BRIDGE ALONG BAULEVU ROAD

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that the Navala Bridge 2 along Navala Road, will be temporarily closed to allow for repair and improvement works following accelerated deterioration.
The bridge will be closed from 9:00am Friday, 7 August 2026 to 5:00pm Saturday, 8 August 2026.
During repair works of the bridge, access over the bridge will be prohibited and a bypass will be provided on upstream end of the bridge.
Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalizing travel plans.
Bridge closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and traffic controllers will be available to direct motorists to the bypass.
