DAKU 2 TIMBER BRIDGE (WAINIKORO ROAD) – RESTRICTED MOVEMENT

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to inform the public that emergency repair works will be carried out on the Daku 2 Timber Bridge along Wainikoro Road. These essential maintenance activities are set to begin this evening.

The works are scheduled to take place daily from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, starting Thursday, 22nd January 2026, and are expected to be completed by Wednesday, 28th January 2026.

During this period, movement at the Daku 2 Timber Bridge will be restricted to ensure the safe operation of machinery and work crews.

Motorists are strongly advised to observe all posted signage and follow instructions from traffic controllers to maintain the safety of all road users and workers.

Please be aware that these works are weather-dependent; in the event of adverse weather conditions, the schedule may be postponed and rescheduled accordingly.
