The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA), wishes to advise the public of the temporary road closure of Main Street Nausori for road upgrade works from Monday 11 August to Monday 25 August 2025, weather permitting.
The planned road closure will extend from the Nausori Police Station to Cakobau House and will be in effect daily from 8:00pm to 5:00am over the 14-day period.
Business owners and private service vehicles are requested to take heed of this notice and ensure that vehicles are not parked along Main Street as per above schedule (11 August to Monday 25 August 2025).
Road closures will be set up along Main Street, and vehicles will not be permitted to pass through while work is undertaken at the specified times. Works will be carried out in sections starting from the Nausori Police Post end of Nausori Town.
We apologize for the inconvenience of noise disturbance during this period within the vicinity of the construction site.
Members of the public are advised to plan their travel accordingly and expect possible delays during these times. Traffic management personnel and signage will be in place to guide motorists safely through the affected areas.
