TOGO (LAVUSA) BRIDGE TO BE TEMPORARY CLOSED FOR URGENT REPAIRS

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public, that the 2nd crossing along Narara Road in Rakiraki will be temporarily closed for urgent repairs on Friday 20 November 2020.
This is a planned closure that will allow FRA maintenance contractor to carry out necessary repairs to the crossing. To maintain access, a temporary bypass will be constructed before the closure, on the upstream side of the existing crossing.
Temporary local area traffic management will be installed to guide the public during the closure period. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly and follow the posted signs.
All works are expected to be completed by Thursday 17 December 2020. FRA apologies for the expected inconvenience. For further queries please call the FRA on 5720.
