Road Improvement Works Progressing In The Northern Division

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that Cuvu Back Road from Shangri-La resort junction till Rukurukulevu Village in Sigatoka will be temporarily closed for emergency maintenance works for a culvert deck from 8am Tuesday 11 October to 5am, Monday 17 October 2022.
This is a temporary closure that will allow our contractors to carry out emergency culvert deck repair works. During this time, motorists can use the Queens Road from both sides.
Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and Traffic Controllers will be available to direct motorists on detour routes.
There is an alternative route available as marked in the locality map below. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
