The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that the Wainivesi Bridge along Wainivesi Road, off Kings Road, will be temporarily closed to allow for emergency repair and improvement works following accelerated deterioration.
The bridge will be closed from 7:00pm Friday, 12 June 2026 to 5:00am Saturday, 13 June 2026.
As there is no alternative diversion route available during the closure, a standby vehicle will be stationed on-site to support any urgent or emergency access needs for residents during the works period.
