The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to inform the public that essential pavement rehabilitation works will commence tonight on Khalsa Road at 8 PM and will continue into the early hours of the morning. These vital road improvement works are set to take place over the next four weeks until completion.
The scheduled night hours for the repairs are aimed at minimizing disruptions to daily traffic, ensuring that local commuters experience the least amount of inconvenience. These efforts are a part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing road conditions for safer and smoother travel for all vehicles.
Temporary traffic management measures will be implemented, during the course of the rehabilitation works. Motorists should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits in the work zones. We kindly advise drivers to exercise caution and allow extra travel time to navigate through the area safely.
The FRA regrets any inconvenience this necessary work may cause and appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding as we work to improve our roadways.
