Fiji Roads Authority would like to advise members of the public, especially travellers along Waidra Bridge on Baulevu Road in Nausori that the Bridge will be closed for maintenance work from:
8:00pm, Thursday 18th October to 6.00am, Friday 19th October
During this time, access will be prohibited across the bridge and there will be no detours posted.
Works will include removing and replacing of damaged nailing strip, transverse planks and damaged running boards. Bridge closure signs have been posted in advance of the closure period and motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.
We will have standby vehicles available on both sides of the bridge to cater for emergency events. The FRA wishes to complete these urgent repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
