     <\/p>\n

    Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that we will be carrying out roadworks on the severely deteriorated sections of roads in the Central Division starting from tonight.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Acting Chief Executive Officer Kamal Prasad says, in order to improve the level of service, the FRA has engaged five more contractors to accelerate the road rehabilitation works in the Greater Suva Area.<\/p>\n

    The schedule for commencement is as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Pratt Street- 19th<\/sup> October<\/li>\n
    • Queens Road (Namuka-i-Lau, Veisari) \u2013 21st<\/sup> October<\/li>\n
    • Nokonoko Road- 21st<\/sup> October<\/li>\n
    • Ono Street- 21st<\/sup> October<\/li>\n
    • Nasevou Road \u2013 21st<\/sup> October<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \u201cTo reduce traffic congestion impacts, most of the works will be carried out during off peak and curfew hours,\u201d Mr Prasad said.<\/p>\n

      Motorists are advised to allow extra travel times, strictly adhere to the directions of the flagman and the site traffic control, to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike.<\/p>\n

      The roadworks will continue till April 2021.<\/p>\n
