{"id":7744,"date":"2023-10-03T14:43:33","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T02:43:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=7744"},"modified":"2023-10-03T14:43:33","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T02:43:33","slug":"road-diversion-for-nawai-box-culvert-construction-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2023\/10\/03\/road-diversion-for-nawai-box-culvert-construction-2\/","title":{"rendered":"ROAD DIVERSION FOR NAWAI BOX CULVERT CONSTRUCTION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that work is currently in progress on the construction of new culverts at Nawai in Sigatoka.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, we have created a two-lane diversion on the downstream side of the existing culvert. This diversion will allow us to safely excavate the old culvert and construct new ones while ensuring a secure working environment.<\/p>\n<p>The diversion is wide enough to accommodate two-way traffic and will be supervised by traffic controllers 24 hours a day. Additionally, the diversion will be illuminated at night with tower lights, and all necessary traffic control advance warning signs will be in place.<\/p>\n<p>Works are anticipated to be completed by the end of November. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions of the traffic controllers and exercise caution while navigating the diversion.
