{"id":7141,"date":"2022-06-13T15:43:49","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T03:43:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=7141"},"modified":"2024-05-08T21:48:27","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T21:48:27","slug":"appointment-of-fra-general-manager-delivery-west","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2022\/06\/13\/appointment-of-fra-general-manager-delivery-west\/","title":{"rendered":"APPOINTMENT OF FRA GENERAL MANAGER DELIVERY \u2013 WEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>13 June 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Mr Joseva Sautu as General Manager Delivery \u2013 West with effect from <strong>13 June 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The position was vacated in January 2022 by Mr Kamal Prasad following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer. The position was advertised internally and externally in line with FRA\u2019s recruitment policy process. The selection of the successful candidate was recommended by a 3-member interview panel to the FRA Board which was sanctioned.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Sautu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Tianjin University and has 18 years of extensive experience in the construction and maintenance of road infrastructure assets. He started his journey in the infrastructure industry as a Clerk of Works and progressed quickly into senior roles given his capabilities. He has also acted as General Manager Delivery &#8211; West on many occasions in the absence of the substantive position holder. Prior to being appointed as the General Manager Delivery &#8211; West, Mr Sautu held the position of Programme Manager Delivery &#8211; West.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the appointment, the CEO Mr Prasad stated Joseva\u2019s ability to respond to stakeholder demands has been exemplary in the last 20 months he has managed the Western Division.
