Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) will be carrying out their mainline pipe relocation works at the Tamavua-I-Wai bridge, outside Suva.<\/p>\n

The schedule for these works is as follows:<\/p>\n

Tee- Connection Lami side approach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date: Sunday, 29th October 2023<\/p>\n

Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM<\/p>\n

Trenching works on the main carriageway<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start Date: Monday, 30th October 2023<\/p>\n

Time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM<\/p>\n

Duration: Approximately 2.5 months<\/p>\n

The diversion will be in place during the trenching works on the main carriageway<\/p>\n

A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will be in place and all vehicles will be diverted to the widening area, allowing for the accommodation of two-lane traffic. This adjustment is a crucial step to ensure minimal disruption to commuters and to facilitate the safe progress of the construction work while minimizing inconvenience for road users.<\/p>\n

Works are expected to last approximately 2.5 months. During this time, we kindly request the cooperation and understanding of the public to complete the necessary infrastructure improvements. For further queries please call FRA on 5720.<\/p>\n
