{"id":6594,"date":"2023-11-03T04:59:33","date_gmt":"2023-11-03T04:59:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=6594"},"modified":"2024-04-15T05:04:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T05:04:01","slug":"6594","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2023\/11\/03\/6594\/","title":{"rendered":"Planned Urgent Maintenance Works On Gusuirewa Bridge, Sigatoka"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>03 November 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the Gusuirewa Bridge on Kavanagasau Road in Sigatoka will be temporarily closed for maintenance works from:<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 126px;\" width=\"993\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"425\"><strong><em>9pm Monday 6<sup>th<\/sup> November 2023 to 5am Tuesday 7<sup>th<\/sup> November 2023<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"198\"><strong><em>Prohibited Access<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"425\"><strong><em>5am Tuesday 7<sup>th<\/sup> November 2023 to 5pm Friday 10<sup>th<\/sup> November 2023<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"198\"><strong><em>Restricted Access (traffic will be controlled)<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out urgent deck repair works. Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly as access will be prohibited across the bridge during this period. A standby means of transportation will be available strictly for emergency events only.<\/p>\n<p>Bridge closure signs will be posted in advance to advise motorists in the area.
