Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the serviceability of the roads between Bukuya Village and Lewa Road junction in Ba has been reduced from RSL to 4×4 until further notice. <\/p>\n
The roads are as follows:<\/p>\n
1.\tNanoko Road \u2013 Bukuya Road to Nanoko Village
\n2.\tNubutautau Road \u2013 Nanoko Road junction to Nanoko Village including all side village accesses.
\n3.\tLewa \u2013 Nubutautau Road \u2013 Nubutautau Village junction to Lewa Road junction including all side village accesses.<\/p>\n
This reduction of serviceability is due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions over the past few weeks restricting FRA\u2019s capability to repair affected sections of its interior unseal road network. <\/p>\n
The continuous rainfall has caused sections of unseal roads to be soggy, impassable and unsafe to heavy vehicles and RSL\u2019s. The conditions of the unseal roads may worsen over the coming days with the impeding tropical cyclone passing through. Motorists are advised to please drive with extreme care. The FRA contractors will immediately attend to these repairs once the weather is favorable. We apologise for the expected inconvenience.
