Fiji Roads Authority would like to advise members of the public, especially travelers along Nausori Highland Road, that the Nausori Highland Bridge, Ba will be temporarily closed for urgent repairs from 10pm, Saturday 23 November to 5am, Monday 25 November.<\/p>\n

This is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out replacement of the bridge decking and runners.\u00a0 During this time access will be prohibited and there are no detours around the bridge.<\/p>\n

Road closure advisory signs will be posted in advance of the closure period and motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly.\u00a0 We will have standby vehicles on both sides for emergency events.<\/p>\n

All motorists intending to travel to and from Nausori Highland village, Bukuya village, Bukuya Health Centre and other villages along subject route are requested to take alternative routes from Navala Road (Ba), Bukuya Road through Valley Road Sigatoka during the bridge closure period.<\/p>\n
