{"id":5475,"date":"2019-11-01T21:27:07","date_gmt":"2019-11-01T21:27:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=5475"},"modified":"2019-11-01T21:27:07","modified_gmt":"2019-11-01T21:27:07","slug":"road-works-to-begin-in-labasa-from-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2019\/11\/01\/road-works-to-begin-in-labasa-from-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"ROAD WORKS TO BEGIN IN LABASA FROM TOMORROW"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fiji\nRoads Authority (FRA) will be commencing sealing\nworks from 11am to 2pm from tomorrow- Saturday (02.11.19) and 6am \u2013 11am Sunday\n(03.10.19) on the following locations;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Valebasoga Road &#8211; sealing works will\nbegin tomorrow Saturday (02.11.19) from 11am &#8211; 2pm. As a consequence, the road will be temporarily reduced to a single lane. Full\ntraffic management will be present on site to guide motorists safely through\nthe site. <\/li><li>Labasa\nMainstreet Nabouwalu Road &#8211; Sealing works will commence on Sunday morning\n(03\/11\/19) from 6am \u2013 11am. (Section from Lunchbox to Courts).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traffic\ninflow into Labasa town from the Natua end (orange directional arrow) will be\ndiverted into James Madhavan to exit back onto Wainikoro Road through Park St,\nRosawa Street and Dakua Street while we seal RHS carriageway. Traffic inflow\ninto Labasa town from Wainikoro Road (blue directional arrow) will continue\nthrough Mainstreet Nabouwalu Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we switch lanes to seal the left\nhand side carriageway, we will allow traffic inflow from Natua end through the\nMainstreet and divert inflow from Wainikoro end into Damanu Street onto James\nMadhavan to exit back onto Nabouwalu Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minor\ntraffic delays are expected and members of the public are requested to strictly adhere to the traffic\nmanagement signage in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen\nalike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
