{"id":4966,"date":"2019-05-07T03:05:15","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T03:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=4966"},"modified":"2019-05-07T03:05:15","modified_gmt":"2019-05-07T03:05:15","slug":"no-right-turn-movements-from-kings-road-4-lane-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2019\/05\/07\/no-right-turn-movements-from-kings-road-4-lane-project\/","title":{"rendered":"NO RIGHT TURN MOVEMENTS FROM KINGS ROAD 4-LANE PROJECT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that FRA contractors will be closing access to Nakasi Road from Kings Road intersection for the four lane project.<\/p>\n<p>As a consequence there will be \u201cNo Right Turn\u201d from Kings Road into Nakasi Road. \u00a0All access to Nakasi Road will be via the detour route below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to Nakasi Road via Vishnu Deo Road, then turn left into Vavalagi Road<\/li>\n<li>Nakasi residents wanting to access Kings Road can do so by following detour signs to Vavalagi Road, then turn right in to Vishnu Deo Road then on to Kings Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the above \u201cNo Right Turn\u201d movement the FRA highlights additional changes to all the intersections on Kings Road from Adi Lady Davila to Toga Road as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adi Lady Davila T- Junction will be a signalised intersection (i.e. Traffic Lights)<\/li>\n<li>Nakasi Road has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>Gagali Road has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>Buabua Road has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>Sasawira Street has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>LDS X- Junction will be a signalised intersection (i.e. Traffic Lights)<\/li>\n<li>Waidamudamu T- Junction will be a signalised intersection (i.e. Traffic Lights)<\/li>\n<li>FNU T- Junction will be a signalised intersection (i.e. Traffic Lights)<\/li>\n<li>Koronivia Road intersection will be a 4-Lane Roundabout<\/li>\n<li>Dalip Street has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>Raghurag Street\/ Dalip Street has no right turn (left in and left out only)<\/li>\n<li>Toga Road has no right turn (left in and left out only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These changes to the original design have been required in response to the increasing traffic volumes and to manage the future traffic growth and congestion impacts.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the public are requested to strictly adhere to the traffic management signage in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike. Public travelling along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans. We apologise for any inconvenience.
