Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that we will be carrying out important road repairs on Khalsa Road during February.\u00a0 These works are targeted to treat the worst failed sections of road pavement between the Lakha Singh Road junction to the Kanace Road intersection.<\/p>\n

Works will begin from 8pm to 5.30am daily from Monday night, 4th<\/sup> February and will be carried out at night throughout the month of February right through to March as weather conditions will play a great role in the delivery of this work. The site will be under traffic management during working hours.<\/p>\n

These works are essential in ensuring motorists get a smoother and safer road surface in FRA\u2019s goal to provide the motorists with more reliable journey times.\u00a0 Other recent improvements to travel times on the road network includes completion of passing lanes on Queens Road near the Navua Hospital and Talenaua Village.<\/p>\n

Other road reconstruction works planned in the month of February and March include Pratt Street in Suva City and Nausori Town Main Street.<\/p>\n
