Each staff at the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) play a critical role, and the things that you do here on a daily basis makes a difference to the lives of the people of our country.<\/p>\n

These were the sentiments of the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Disaster Management and Meteorological Services, Jone Usamate during his visit to the FRA Office in Suva yesterday.<\/p>\n

He said the staff at the FRA plays a critical role in this country as the roads, bridges and jetties were critical for the development of Fiji.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a minister, I represent the people of this country and I need to be sure that the work that you are doing here at FRA and the way that we are doing things across the whole sector in Fiji works for the better. We should be more efficient and more effective.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all have a new opportunity each day to make a difference in somebody\u2019s life by the speed in which we do things, whether we do it well or we do it badly, all these things have an impact on somebody\u2019s life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Usamate has called for a collective effort from staff in improving Fiji\u2019s road infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, FRA Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore discussed about their projects and administrative affairs at the meeting.<\/p>\n
