{"id":4568,"date":"2018-11-28T03:39:23","date_gmt":"2018-11-28T03:39:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=4568"},"modified":"2018-11-28T03:39:23","modified_gmt":"2018-11-28T03:39:23","slug":"latm-trial-well-underway-to-help-improve-congestion-in-nadi-town","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2018\/11\/28\/latm-trial-well-underway-to-help-improve-congestion-in-nadi-town\/","title":{"rendered":"LATM TRIAL WELL UNDERWAY TO HELP IMPROVE CONGESTION IN NADI TOWN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>28 November 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that the Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) trials in the Nadi Town center is currently in progress to further improve traffic congestion.<\/p>\n<p>Changes are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Queens Road (Main Street) will be one way (2 Lane) from Nadi Temple to Vunavau Street junction<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No Right Turn from Vunavau Street to Queens Road (Main Street)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No Left Turn from Koroivolu Avenue to Queens Road (Main Street)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hospital Road will be one way (2 Lane)\u00a0from Market Lane to Sahu Khan Lane.\u00a0 New Stop Line near Sahu Khan Lane\/ Post Office Lane junctions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>No Right Turn from Post Office Lane to Hospital Road<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>New Stop Line on Hospital Road near Raniga Road junction (Market bound lane)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These changes were incorporated following the extensive review of the trials with the stakeholders; FRA, Fiji Police, Land Transport Authority, Nadi Town Council and Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are requested to be conscious of this trial when entering Nadi Town and are requested to follow all posted temporary signs.
