Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that the Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) trials in the Nadi town center will continue for a further three weeks.<\/p>\n

FRA Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore says the trial to date has been recognised by all stakeholders as a success, but they are planning a number of adjustments to further improve traffic flow.<\/p>\n

These will incorporate outputs from the recent review of the trials with the stakeholders (FRA, Police, Land Transport Authority, Nadi Town Council and Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry).<\/p>\n

Mr Moore said the alteration to the current setup will be implemented on 21 November 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is envisaged that the alteration will further enhance the flow of traffic in and around the Nadi Central Business District.\u00a0 The details of the alteration and the amended maps will be advertised next week.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has urged motorists to be conscious of this trial when entering Nadi Town and to follow all posted temporary signs.<\/p>\n
