Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public of the traffic lane reconfiguration of the road network on King\u2019s road in front of Rups Nakasi and at the Wainibuku and Naivorovoro crossroads.<\/p>\n

As a consequence, all right turn out of the Rups complex front exit on Kings Road will be blocked.<\/p>\n

FRA General Manager Network Operations and Maintenance Aram Goes says the changes to the road network is to enable a safe and efficient flow of traffic in and around the Rups Nakasi complex and Wainibuku and Naivorovoro intersection.<\/p>\n

\u201cImprovements to the current traffic movements in and out of Rups Nakasi complex and the introduction of a temporary mini round about at the Wainibuku \u2013 Naivorovoro intersection is expected to improve road user safety and reduce congestion.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said these improvements will also enable FRA to work towards signalising the Wainibuku \u2013 Naivorovoro crossroad later in 2018 that will inherently further improve the road safety at this location.<\/p>\n
