{"id":2020,"date":"2017-06-16T01:50:30","date_gmt":"2017-06-16T01:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/?p=2020"},"modified":"2017-06-16T01:50:30","modified_gmt":"2017-06-16T01:50:30","slug":"waitolutolu-bridge-naitaisiri-closed-maintenance-sunday-18th-june-8-00am-6-00pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fijiroads.org\/index.php\/2017\/06\/16\/waitolutolu-bridge-naitaisiri-closed-maintenance-sunday-18th-june-8-00am-6-00pm\/","title":{"rendered":"WAITOLUTOLU BRIDGE, NAITAISIRI TO BE CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE ON SUNDAY 18TH JUNE FROM 8.00AM TO 6.00PM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>16 June 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the Waitolutolu Bridge on Vunidawa Road in Naitasiri will undergo maintenance this Sunday- June 18<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the bridge will be temporarily closed from 8.00am to 6.00pm.<\/p>\n<p>This is the same bridge that collapsed six weeks ago due to an overloaded truck that damaged the decking timbers.<\/p>\n<p>FRA Chief Executive Officer John Hutchinson says in the interim, they have constructed a temporary foot crossing for the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a planned closure that will allow our contractors to carry out the maintenance works.
