28 February 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planned maintenance work on Wainibau Bridge at Baulevu Road in Nausori is scheduled for Today (28\/02\/17).<\/p>\n

The Bridge will be closed f<\/em>rom 8pm, Tuesday 28th<\/sup> February <\/em>and will <\/em>re-open at 4am on Wednesday 1st<\/sup> March. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive Officer John Hutchinson says the public advisory signs have been placed on site for the past week as there will be no detours posted during maintenance works.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a planned closure that will allow our contractors Fulton Hogan Hiways with its sub-contractors Instant Construction to carry out urgent maintenance works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Hutchinson has advised the public travelling along this area to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cFRA wishes to apologise for the short term inconvenience, but this is for long term improvement.\u201d<\/p>\n
