Fiji Roads Authority contractors are working across the network to repair public transport service routes affected by the current weather.
As water level recedes and roads open up again to travellers, rainfall currently experienced in the Central Division still has some roads and crossings closed.
As a precautionary measure, motorists and members of the public are advised not to cross flooded or swollen streams. Other prevailing conditions could include slippery road surfaces especially on the unsealed road network and potholes on sealed road surfaces.
Members of the public can contact Fiji Roads Authority on 5720 if they have queries regarding roads and crossings that have been closed as a result of the current wet weather.
