VANDALISM ON NEW BUS SHELTERS IN SUVA

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is concerned with the recent acts of vandalism on the new bus shelters which have just been constructed.

Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Moore is advising the public to look after these assets for their own benefits and to be vigilant and report all instances of vandalism to the Fiji Police Force.

FRA has begun constructing 84 bus shelters around the country which will be completed within the next seven months and has prioritised the areas in front of schools and health centres.

“This is important to get the best service to the public but at the same time we are also concerned about the acts of vandalism on our road assets.”  We hope that these bus shelters will serve its purpose and not have to be replaced earlier than we anticipated.
